Encounter Summary:

Jeanne Hyde called Dave at 1100 to relay a report of whales at Beaumont Shoal and then again two hours later to report that the whales had been ID'd as the T10's and that they were now near D'Arcy Island. Dave got ready and went over to CWR and then to Snug Harbor and left aboard Orca at 1415.
Dave got on scene near the east end of Mandarte Island at 1438. T10 and T10B appeared to be on a seal but most of the action was happening underwater with the two of them surfacing separately only occasionally. T10C was foraging about 200 meters to the west of them. At 1445, T10C came charging back over to where T10 and T10B last went down before all three of them surfaced tight together a couple minutes later pointing northwest. T10B was carrying what may have been a still living harbor seal in his mouth as the whales began traveling slowly northwest and then west. T10B was still carrying the seal several minutes later although it was probably dead by then. The whales continued westerly at a slow pace and Orca left them at 1506 about midway between the west end of Mandarte Island and Gooch Island.
