Encounter Summary:

Jeanne Hyde called Ken near sunset to report a group of whales heading north in Andrews Bay. Shortly afterwards, Ken photographed the T49A's, T68C's, and T68B2 heading north past CWR from the porch before he went down to Snug Harbor and jumped aboard Orca.

The whales were milling back and forth in a tight group near the mouth of Open Bay and along the rocks of south Kellett Bluff. The milling was pretty vigorous and there was a lot of splashing from the younger animals as they hunted seals near the Kellett Bluff shoreline. There was not enough light for photos but Ken shot some video until there was not enough light to see anything, leaving the whales still milling off the south end of the bluff near dark.
