Encounter Summary:
Ken embarked on "Chimo" at 1545 from Snug Harbor in response to a report of Bigg's Transient killer whales heading west near Albert Head, Vancouver Island. Meanwhile, Dave embarked on "Orcinus" in response to another group of Bigg's Transient killer whales off Dungeness Spit heading east toward Admiralty Inlet (see Encounter 58). Ken encountered the T75 and T75A, along with the T41's, T91 and T77A in a resting group heading slowly along the shoreline. They had been actively foraging near Albert Head a half hour before "Chimo" arrived, but now they were in a beautifully serene resting state of behavior.
