Discovery Island
Encounter Summary:
Whales were spotted from Gonzales lookout at 14:21. After launching Eagle Dancer, Mark Malleson found T123, T123A and T123C south of Great Chain Island moving quickly east towards Discovery Island. A blood plume was spotted .34 nautical miles southeast of Seabird, indicating a likely seal kill.
The whales continued on a northwest track south of Beaumont shoals to north of Fulford Reef.
