Encounter Summary:

After ending Encounter 98 with J pod in Admiralty Inlet, “Morning Star” had some time left before sunset to check out transients that had been spotted by whale watching boats. “Morning Star” arrived on scene at 1520 with the T35As west of Partridge Bank. The whales were grouped up, mellow, and slowly trending west, occasionally zigzagging. The encounter was ended at 1540 as the whales continued to slowly meander west of Partridge Bank.
